This post is for Alli in response to her post about Caitie's hair :)
Linda, as everyone knows, has little to no hair. (and she's 3!!!) The apple doesn't fall too far from the tree, when I was little, I didn't have much hair either. Here are pictures of me at 2 and 3 years old.
Although my hair was darker, I had about the same amount as Linda has.
I took some pictures of Linda yesterday, so you can see what her hair looks like.
She has a few wispy curls at the back, and I can put a little ponytail at the top to keep the hair out of her eyes.
I decided to straighten the back today to see how long it was. It was a couple inches passed her shoulders.
In curls it's cute, but straightened, she looked a bit like Joe Dirt. (I'm not being mean, but it was funny looking)
So, I decided to cut it! I only took off like 2 inches or so, just to try and even it up a bit with the shorter pieces in the front.
It makes it look a bit thicker and more uniform (and not like baby hair as much anymore)
She looks like a "big girl" now even more so.
Next month I register her for school, where has time gone?

Busy Boy!
Baby Bruce is 8 months old now. I brought him to the nurse today to get his second dose of the flu shot, and also had him weighed. He is now 15lbs 7oz. So still small for his age, but getting bigger :)
He is still doing the army crawl, but at full force now! We had uncle Keld install a railing to fill in the gap in the stairwell that one of the kids could have fallen through. Thanks uncle Keld!

I also now keep the door to the living room closed, and installed a gate between the kitchen and dining room.
I can confine Bruce to the living room/dining room now, and don't have to worry about him falling down the stairs. Linda makes sure to tell me if she thinks he is getting to close to the door, in fact, she is in a bit of a panic if the does! She wants to keep him safe, it's pretty sweet actually :)
Though he sometimes still gets to the stairs, and is now trying to climb them.
He can now pull himself into a standing position if the object is at the right height (he's still really short!) and climbs anything he can (cushions for example)
He also puts himself on all fours (hands and feet) and sticks his little bum up in the air, it's pretty cute!
He sure is a busy little boy, and keeps both Linda and I on our toes!

Twinkle twinkle little star!
Here is Linda singing her new song.
(she is singing quite softly, so you might need to turn up the volume to hear her)

And when there's no place to go.....
LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW!!!
We got our second snowfall of the season last night. Here are some pictures of the first snowfall we got last week, it was really just a dusting, but Linda couldn't wait to go out and play.

This snowfall was really the first GOOD snowfall (we got about 10 cm) so it left us with some nice white stuff to play in!
It was really mild out, resulting in some nice sticky snow. So I bundled the kids up, and we headed outside to play. (I even let my chores wait, and anyone who knows me well, knows I am pretty obsessive with keeping my house super tidy).
So we built ourselves a nice little snowman tha Linda named "daddy", I guess because he was wearing a FORD hat!
Even Baby Bruce got to play in the snow. (well not really play, it is so hard for those little babies to do anything in those big snowsuits). He did pose for a quick picture with the snowman!
I also took out the sleigh and took the kids for a little ride around the yard.
It was a really good Saturday morning, and now it's time to clean the house and get my laundry done!

Trick or Treat!!!
This was a fun halloween, since Linda is now 3 and LOVES it! We got to go twice, so it was twice as much fun! First, on Friday, we had a trunk or treat at the church. Than tonight, it was trick or treating around the neighbourhood. Linda first dressed up as Rapunzel. As she was getting ready, she twirled in front of the mirror and said "I'm the most beautiful princess!" She was right, she was the most beautiful princess :)
Baby Bruce dressed up as a little chicken, and he was a cute one!
There was also a spooky ghost at the trunk or treat.......BOO!!!!
Tonight, she decided to dress up as a dragon. She tried to be scary, but she was just too cute to be scary!
Baby Bruce didn't dress up as a chicken and go out trick or treating, but he was decked out in his halloween clothes, and handed out treats with me instead .

Linda got quite a haul, just look at all that stuff!

I guess her daddy will have to help her eat it all :)
And just because I need a reason to post these pictures, here they are!
They make me smile everytime I see them :) Love that face!

Say cheese :)
Baby Bruce has started to "say cheese" when I take his pictures. It's a goofy little face, but I love it!
Here are an assortment of "cheese" pictures of both Linda and Bruce :)
Such cute faces!
