Bruce is my tiny guy with a big personality!
At 17 months old, he measures 30 inches and weighs 18lbs. But being small doesn't stop him!
He walks (or mostly runs) all around. He can climb up and down stairs (actually he can climb up and down pretty much anything) He isn't very cautious when it comes to trying things (which is the complete opposite of Linda, who is overly cautious), he reminds me a lot of little Caitie :)
He can say a lot now. He says: mommy, daddy, Linda, thank you, please (well he's said it a couple of times), go, stop, bye, baby, dodo, night night, Jeff, Becca. (I might be missing a few) Those are the clear words, but he "talks" a lot! I can't understand most of what he is saying, but I am beginning to decode his language. He also barks like a dog, meows like a cat, roars like a monster and because of uncle Jeff, makes monkey noises.
He LOVES to eat and will eat anything I put in front of him (lets hope that lasts!) He lets you know when he wants something to eat if you are preparing food by saying thank you in a cute little voice.
He loves music. Anytime music comes on, he will dance. Even the hymns at church get him going, he sure has a song in his heart!
He has the sweetest little grin, and squeals with delight and excitement all the time.
He loves his big sister Linda and they play so well together. She is teaching him to play pretend and can always make him laugh or smile. (he sure is gonna miss her when she starts school next week).
He LOVES and I mean LOVES tractors. He is definately his daddy's boy. He loves going on 4 wheeler rides and mowing the lawn with daddy at the cottage.
He is always on the go, and can hardly sit still. I guess that is why despite his monster sized appetite, he manages to stay so small. He is just itching to go to nursery and just wants to walk around at church.
He loves his dodo. He carries that thing around everywhere. I only wish he would have gotten attatched to a blanket as opposed to a sleep sack.
He is pretty cheap when it comes to snuggles, but when he does give them, they are the sweetest thing. He always gives goodbye, goodnight kisses, followed by a "bye!" and wave of the hand.
I sure do love my tiny little guy!
