Linda's hair

This post is for Alli in response to her post about Caitie's hair :)

Linda, as everyone knows, has little to no hair. (and she's 3!!!)  The apple doesn't fall too far from the tree, when I was little, I didn't have much hair either.  Here are pictures of me at 2 and 3 years old.

Although my hair was darker, I had about the same amount as Linda has.
I took some pictures of Linda yesterday, so you can see what her hair looks like.

She has a few wispy curls at the back, and I can put a little ponytail at the top to keep the hair out of her eyes.
I decided to straighten the back today to see how long it was.  It was a couple inches passed her shoulders.
In curls it's cute, but straightened, she looked a bit like Joe Dirt.  (I'm not being mean, but it was funny looking)
So, I decided to cut it!  I only took off like 2 inches or so, just to try and even it up a bit with the shorter pieces in the front.

It makes it look a bit thicker and more uniform (and not like baby hair as much anymore)

She looks like a "big girl" now even more so.

Next month I register her for school, where has time gone?

Busy Boy!

Baby Bruce is 8 months old now.  I brought him to the nurse today to get his second dose of the flu shot, and also had him weighed.  He is now 15lbs 7oz.  So still small for his age, but getting bigger :)

He is still doing the army crawl, but at full force now!  We had uncle Keld install a railing to fill in the gap in the stairwell that one of the kids could have fallen through.  Thanks uncle Keld!

I also now keep the door to the living room closed, and installed a gate between the kitchen and dining room.
I can confine Bruce to the living room/dining room now, and don't have to worry about him falling down the stairs.  Linda makes sure to tell me if she thinks he is getting to close to the door, in fact, she is in a bit of a panic if the does!  She wants to keep him safe, it's pretty sweet actually :)
Though he sometimes still gets to the stairs, and is now trying to climb them.

He can now pull himself into a standing position if the object is at the right height (he's still really short!) and climbs anything he can (cushions for example)
He also puts himself on all fours (hands and feet) and sticks his little bum up in the air, it's pretty cute!

He sure is a busy little boy, and keeps both Linda and I on our toes!
