Sleeping like a baby

Baby Bruce can pretty much sleep ANYWHERE.  Sometimes I will put him down (in his swing, on his play mat, or in his exosaucer) when I have things to do (dishes, hang the laudry get lunch or dinner ready, ect.)  I have been able to snap some cute pictures of him sleeping.

Daddy's home!!!

It's always fun when Daddy comes home for lunch.  Linda always hides under the table giggling, while James "searches" for her.  (He knows where she is, she never hides anywhere else!)  Once we are done eating, Linda wants to sit and cuddle/play with her daddy.  As long as baby Bruce isn't hungry, he will lean in towards his daddy and kick his little legs indicating he wants to go and see him.  There isn't enough room on the chair for me, but I love when he comes home too!

4 months old

Baby Bruce (or Bidou as Linda and I call him) is now 4 months old!  We brought him to the nurse today and here are his stats:  he weighs 12 lbs 11oz (which is less than I expected) and is 24.5 inches long (which is also less than I expected).  He is between the 5th and 10th percentile for weight and 10th and 25th for height.  He has gained ALMOST 5 pounds since birth.  It is crazy how quickly they grow and develop.  This last week, he has learned some new "tricks" like:

grabbing his feet

sitting in his big boy chair

rolling over

playing with and "talking" to his toys

he has also leared to blow bubbles, and lots of them!  ( no picture or video of that one, though it is cute!)

There you have it, two thumbs up!  I can't imagine life without him, he is such a good boy, and oh so cute!  We love him so much and can't wait to see what the next 4 months will bring.
