Glasses

Last Monday, Linda had an eye exam done.  She had a bit of a lazy eye (it would cross when she was trying to focus on something, and when she was tired.  It had been that way for about 2-3 months (that I noticed) so I decided I'd better get it checked out, before it turned into something that couldn't be corrected.  She was a REALLY good girl during her eye exam, and didn't cry (even when the optometrist put drops in her eyes that he said would probably sting quite a bit).  In fact, she thinks the Optometrist is THE BEST because he let her watch Caillou (one of her favorite cartoons) while he was examining her eyes.  So as it turns out, she is VERY far sighted (like her mommy) and therefore needed glasses.  He said having the glasses should correct her wandering eye.  So far so good!  She looks REALLY cute with her little glasses, she also looks a lot less like a baby and more like a little "lady".

We chose some really pretty little glasses.
They are pink, and every other color going for that matter.
They have little flowers and butterflies on the side.

Now I hope that she will wear them ALL THE TIME like she is suppose to, and not give me any problems.

And just because he's a cutie...

Driving the car

Last night after doing groceries, James decided to give Linda a driving lesson...

She cranked some tunes, and had a blast (and even busted out a few moves)

Yard work

Yesterday, seeing as it was a nice enough day, Linda and I spent some time outside.  First we played on the deck with the Playmobile tractors, than, when I decided she had played enough, I put her to work!
The yard was quite messy with all the leaves and sand that were packed down from the snow, so in order to get the lawn looking a bit nicer, I had Linda rake the WHOLE THING!
After all that hard work, a girl needs a juice break!

Ok, so I might have helped her a little bit, a girl can only do so much.
I wish I had a before picture of the yard, but trust me, it looks a LOT better than it did.

Baby Bruce was also hard at work "supervising" us :)

All that slave labour caused Linda to sleep in until almost 9:30 this morning.  But after some more juice, she was ready to go!  Maybe I'll have her rake the front yard today...
