Hi!

Bruce just wanted to say "hi" to everyone :)

January 16, 2012

waving goodbye to daddy, and saying hello to school!

Baby Bruce has learned to wave "bye-bye".  Both kids always stand at the window, and wave goodbye to daddy as he drives to work.  Little Bruce is still so pint sized, so it's cute to see him peer over the window ledge to see his daddy drive off.

Here comes daddy!
Both Linda and Bruce waving goodbye.
Bruce just happy to be looking out the window, thinking he's so big!

Above are two pictures of him waving at his daddy in the morning (the one morning daddy took a different way to work!)

And here is a picture of my big girl, who went to register for school today!
She was so excited to be there, and was hoping that she was actually starting school today!  She loved being there so much, that she didn't even want to leave when the registration was over (let's hope she keeps that same love and enthusiasm in September when it's actually time to go!)

Better late than never!

It's nearly two weeks into January, and I realized I never made a post about Christmas!  (you would think having 2 little ones, I would have got on that sooner, you know, with the abundance of pictures and all...)

I didn't do a very good job taking pictures Christmas Day.  I took some here at home in the morning, of the kids opening there presents before church.

Linda got some princesses and a super frilly/girly skirt, and Bruce got a train and a couple really cute truck shirts.

James and I were unfortunately feeling really sick that day (so sick I didn't even get to eat my very favorite chirstmas breakfast at moms, not to worry though, she recreated it the following Sunday for New Years......thanks mom!) Nor did I get to eat either of the two turkey dinners I attended (the first at Special's and the second at my mom's)
Anyway, all that is my excuse as to why I didn't get any other pictures of the kids that day!
Though we were feeling sick, we still enjoyed seeing the excitement on the kids faces (well maybe not Bruce's, but Linda's!)

The following day (26th) we celebrated Christmas with my dad.  James and I were still feeling sick that day, but my dad and sister both came over for a couple hours to open gifts and visit for a while.  My dad always goes way overboard with gifts.  He did really enjoy watching Linda get so excited as she opened each gift though.

On a side note, James and my sister napped a good part of the time (here are pictures of those two party animals)

So, even though I was sick through all of it, I really enjoyed spending my Christmas with some of my family (we were missing some really important people though.....Dave, Alli, Jordie, Caitie, baby Will, Jordan, Emmy and Sawyer!)
