Birthday party

Since we will be away at Disney for Linda's birthday which is on the 23rd, I decided I would celebrate with her grandparents on my side of the family this past Satruday.  Unfortunately "Brown" was working (that is what Linda calls my dad, instead of Grampa) and wasn't able to make it.  So, it was a very small party with just my mom attending (other than baby Bruce, James and I of course).
We ordered some pizza, I made some cupcakes, and Linda opened some gifts.
From her memere she got :  the series of Strawberry Shortcake dolls, a coloring book and crayons, some playdoh (I felt a little bit like Alli when Jordie got all excited about using something called "glue!" last year) because she was so amazed at how squishy and fun it was! She also got a little outfit and a set of bilingual books to teach her some french!  Yep, she got spoiled from my mom!
I decided that since she needed some fall/winter clothes, I would just give her that as a gift.  So we got her a couple of winter type dresses and a jean jumper type dress.

We ended up with a LOT of uneaten cupcakes, so later in the evening we walked over to give them to the sickies :)  Than we walked over to give a couple to Special and Grampa Bruce and Linda got her gift from them.  From Special she got a SUPER cute outfit with jeans, a sweater and a t-shirt.  She also got an activity book.

Here are a series of pictures of her blowing out her candles and opening some gifts.
